Building brands and telling stories that actually mean something
Dreamfuel is a design studio based in Cape Town and Napier, New Zealand.
We're founder-led, Abie Collins and Alberic Vollmer, partners since the beginning. Founded in Cape Town in 2011, we've worked across government, museums, heritage institutions, and purpose-driven
businesses in South Africa and beyond. In 2021 Abie relocated to New Zealand. We now operate across both countries, carrying that same cross-cultural lens into every brief. We do what most design studios do — brand, strategy, campaigns. The difference is who we do it for.

Alberic's work spans institutions including the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation, SA Rugby Union, Michigan State University, and the Two Oceans Marathon. He was co-director and co-producer of Ukuwela, an award-winning documentary following a young sailing team's journey to compete in the Cape to Rio race.

Abie has led branding and design projects for the Nelson Mandela Foundation, DKMS Africa, the City of Cape Town, and PEP Distribution Centres. He now leads Dreamfuel's expansion into New Zealand, based in Napier.
