Conceived by Dreamfuel, Legacies in Light brought art to rural South African communities, collaborating with Michigan State University and the Nelson Mandela Museum. We engaged primary school students at the Mandela Museum, celebrating Mandela’s centenary by projecting their artworks onto local huts. The event connected the community through shared heritage and creativity, making art accessible and celebrating local talent in a profound and memorable way. The project was also documented through film, capturing the creative process and the event’s impact for broader audiences.
